A nice vintage Sheaffer's fountain pen desk set. The fountain pen is olive green with white specks and a black tapered end. The flat end was most likely used to dial a rotary phone. The pen measures 6 7/8 inches and has a gold nib marked Sheaffer's Lifetime. It is a smooth writer which writes between fine and medium. This is a lever fill pen and it fills properly. The base has a piece missing in one corner as can be seen in the first photo. The paint is a bit faded as well. The base measures 4 inches x 4 inches and is 1/2 inch in height. I have adjusted the price of this desk set to reflect the condition of the base. The pen on the other hand is beautiful!
