A vintage Parker 51 Special fountain pen in burgundy with a chrome cap. The pen measures 5 3/8 inches capped. The cap has numerous fine scratches and a black jewel at the end. The medium nib is an alloy and writes smoothly. The plyglass is soft and the pen fills properly. The Parker 51 Special went into production in 1950 and was a less expensive version of the Parker 51 which had a gold nib. This pen will make a great daily writer!
