A stunning vintage Sheaffer's Snorkel fountain pen and pencil set in blue with gold trim. This set is in mint condition. The pen measures 5 9/16 inches capped. It appears that this pen has never been inked. I did flush it with water to make sure that the snorkel filling mechanism works properly. The nib is not marked so I believe this is a palladium silver nib. The original paper band is on the section and is marked Fine. Since this is in mint condition I did not want to dip test it. The pencil measures 5 inches and the 0.9mm lead extends and retracts smoothly. The box is in reasonable condition, some dirt on the outside. What more can I say about this beautiful pen and pencil set!
