Parker VS Fountain Pen in Rust

The Parker VS, or vacumatic successor, was produced from approximately 1946 to 1949 following the large success Parker had with the Parker Vacumatic. This color on this pen is rust and it has a lustraloy cap with a jewel. The clip is quite different from the typical Parker clip. The pen measures 5 1/2 inches capped. The pen has an aluminum button filler, a new sac has been installed and the pen fills properly. The 14K gold nib is a fine and the feed is clear. The one flaw is a scratch on the section which can be seen in the photos. This does not affect the pen in any way. This is a lovely pen and a nice example of a Parker VS.
